Welcome to the first blog on Spire Autism. My name is Martin, and I would like to take this time to tell you more about myself, and when to expect each blog to be available.

I was diagnosed with Autism at the age of five. The journey has not been easy, and to think of it, I would say it is like an uncharted road not knowing where the next turn will lead. It has been a roller coaster from the lack of support to the bullying and being nervous to ask for help in fear of being made fun of. There also have been great days like doing the things that I love like going to concerts, sporting events, doing photography, and making electronic dance music on occasion.

Whenever I have difficult days, I listen to Hard Rock, Hip-Hop/Rap, and all types of EDM to get my mind distracted. One of the things I like to do listed above is photography, and photography is like telling a story through your eyes. I also, on occasion, when I have time is golf.  Golf is a frustrating sport and takes patience but is fun when you go to the driving range and work on hitting the ball in a relaxed environment.

Lastly, the greatest thing I like to do is exercise at the gym. Lifting weights when stressed out helps lift the stress off of me and going as quick or as long as needed. Exercise is a great stress reliever. I know things are going well but I don’t know what will happen in the future. I just got to keep my eyes on the road and navigate.

Finally, I would like to tell you about when to expect blogs and some topics. When it comes to releasing blogs, it will be mixed depending on if I can get work and school assignments done early enough. I will be discussing my book Chatter Box as well and dissect each chapter along with the reasoning behind it.

Thank you so much for checking out the blog and stay tuned for upcoming updates and announcements.
